Technify Reading Lab is operated by Technify Inc., an education technology company based in Cebu City, Philippines, also known for Tala, our K-12 school management platform for Philippine schools.

• Account details provided by a school: name, grade level, role and school.
• Learning activity: missions started and completed, answers, scores, reading time, streaks and badges.
• Preferences: reading language, text size, sound and notification settings.
• Technical data: device type, browser and log data needed to keep the service secure.

We use data to deliver reading missions, show progress to students, teachers, parents and school administrators, personalize difficulty and recommendations, support your school, and keep the platform secure and reliable.

Student accounts are created and controlled by the subscribing school, which acts as the owner of student records. We process student data on the school's instructions. We do not sell student data or use it for advertising or profiling.

Data is shared only with the student's school and linked parents or guardians, and with service providers that help us host and operate the platform under contract. We may disclose information where required by law.

We keep account and progress records for as long as the school's subscription is active. Schools may request export or deletion of their records; ask your school administrator or email us directly.

Consistent with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, and object to certain processing. Requests from students are handled through the school.

We use access controls, encrypted connections and role-based permissions so each user sees only the records appropriate to their role. No online service can promise perfect security, so we also ask schools to manage accounts and passwords carefully.
